Jennifer Freiling spent her childhood growing-up alternating between New York and Tokyo. Educated at Barnard Collage, Jennifer has also studied at the International Center of Photography and the School of Visual Arts in New York to further develop her lifelong love of photography. 

She has said of her passion for the art form "Photography is a medium that allows us to untangle a moment in time. The isolation of that single moment in an image serves as a reminder of all the little pieces of time that make life so rich."
